After these two months and some days that I've been doing the erasmus exchange students program in Turin I realized that my country is not as bad as I always thought it was in terms of the education system ( not just that but it's the most important factor when you're doing erasmus - if you do it for learning ). We, portuguese, are always criticizing ourselves about everything, but, I think, we have no idea of the value we have. For 4 years I've been studying at the Fine Arts Faculty of Lisbon, now I'm on the fifth year. Lately I've been focusing more on my work. It's only one year and a half till I end my degree and I need to get really serious on my work. I've never sold any of my paintings/drawings/etchings and it's weird for me to put some price on any of them. I know I have to do that one day If I want to be an artist but it will be hard. Also I feel a strong attachment to the things I make, it's hard to never see them again really. I also feel I'm changing a little, growing up, not giving attention to stupid things I use to give, and I feel much better this way. Found also many ways to keep myself away from depression which used to embrace me often.
